How do I update a new program I installed with positions I entered into my old copy of the Portfolio |

When you install the program, a new file is saved in the Portfolio Monitor folder preserving existing versions of the program. The Import button from the Control Panel allows you to import positions from your existing portfolio to the new program. Clicking this button automatically imports data from the previous program and saves this previous program to the portfolio backup folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\DYY\Monitor\Backup).
If more than one program is found in the Portfolio Monitor folder, you are given the option to choose the program from which to import your existing positions.
