Why is the program prompting me to Enable or Disable Macros? |

When you first load the program, and each time thereafter, you may be prompted by a Security Warning screen warning you that the Portfolio Monitor program includes macro and asking you if you wish to disable or enable these macros. For proper operation of the program, you must select the Enable Macros button.
The Security Warning screen is enabled from the Macro Security button of the Security Tab in the Excel options screen. To access this screen, select Tools from the top menu and click on Options... Then select the Security tab. With Medium security level, you as a user are placed in charge of ensuring that you are opening a program and enabling macros from a vendor whom you trust.
